Normal test results

If your results are normal we will not routinely contact you.  Once your results have been checked and filed you can view them in the NHS app by viewing your GP record.  This could take upto a week from your test date.

Results requiring follow up

If your results show that you require treatment or further investigations then we will contact you either by telephone or letter.

If you wish to enquire about your test results then please telephone between 11am and 3pm.  The administrative staff will give results to you or ask you to speak to a nurse or doctor.  

Patient confidentiality

Test results for adults will only be given to the patient, except in exceptional circumstances.
